LiteBit constantly reviews user accounts to improve our platform security and to comply with global compliance requirements. Due to new compliance policy we can no longer offer crypto services to customers who reside in certain countries and/or who qualify as US Person.
What do I have to do if my country of residence is affected by LiteBit’s new compliance policy or if I qualify as an US person?
Unfortunately, this means that we are going to close your LiteBit account on the deadline mentioned in the email that we have send to you. Please remove any remaining funds and/or crypto from your LiteBit account before the deadline. The wallets, including the remaning cryptocurrency, will be deleted on the deadline.
Delisting after the deadline
Please be aware that any remaining coins in your suspended account could be eligible for delisting in the future. LiteBit has the explicit right to delete wallets of delisted coins including the coins that are still in this wallet. So please withdraw your funds before the deadline.

To withdraw your funds, please login to https://www.litebit.eu/en/login and click ‘My wallet’. Next, please locate your funds and click the withdrawal buttons.
What do I have to do if I reside in a country which has not been affected by LiteBit’s new compliance policy?
We have selected certain users because there were indications in their LiteBit account that they reside in a certain country. If you believe that this assumption is incorrect and you want to keep your LiteBit account, please send an email to email@example.com before May 1st 2020.
- Please indicate in the email in which non affected country you reside and what your address and phone number are.
- Keep in mind that perhaps you will also be asked to verify your identity.
- Please keep in mind that if you qualify as US Person it will not be possible to furnish evidence about your country of residence. That is because the services of LiteBit are not available for US Persons no matter what their country of residence is (Art. 3 of the Terms and Conditions as of March 1st, 2019)
LiteBit regrettably is forced to close your LiteBit account if there is not sufficient data to support your claim that your country of residence is situated in a non-affected country. We apologize for the inconvenience.
