LiteBit's cross chain recovery policy is part of the LiteBit service, to recover cryptocurrency sent to an incorrect network from a different cryptocurrency. We will only attempt to recover deposits that exceed 2000 euro's at the time of deposit. Only deposits reported within seven days of this deposit can be recovered and the cost of the recovery is 0.1 BTC. Recovering cryptocurrency cross chain is an inherently dangerous and time-consuming process. Not all deposits can be recovered and the time frame of recovery is at our discretion.
This policy DOES NOT apply to deposits with incorrect or missing memos (destination tags / message / payment ID etc.) on currencies. Nor does it apply to tokens sent to addresses.
The cryptocurrency will be recovered in a time frame of our discretion, which will occur once per month at maximum.
This policy DOES apply to any deposits sent to an address of another coin on another network. The policy includes but is not limited to:
- Sent BTC to BCC
- Sent BCC to BTC
- Sent DOGE to DGB
Important: We WILL NOT recover coins we do not support on our LiteBit wallets. Nor will we recover funds that were distributed as part of an ICO.
Cross chain - A deposit of one cryptocurrency to a different cryptocurrency address is considered a cross-chain deposit.
