Answer: The Tier verification system is the verification system we use. It is divided into three levels (Tiers). Every Tier has a new spending limit.
The verification process is divided into three Tiers. Each new Tier means a change to your limit, so we are required by Dutch law to request more information from you. The three Tiers look like this:
- Tier 1 = phone verification
- Tier 2 = address verification
- Tier 3 = ID verification
Update: Tier 2 is only available for customers who have already been verified to Tier 2. If you have a Tier 1 account you can now directly verify to Tier 3. Your limits will only change when your Tier 3 verification is completed.
